Color Splash Hair Studio, located in South Chesapeake, VA, is a full service hair salon and makeup studio. We offer haircuts, hair color, hair treatments, hair extensions, eyebrow care, makeup applications and more.
We are a local, family-owned small business. We’re a community-centric, full-family hair salon that serves neighborhoods near and far. Color Splash Hair Studio is an education-based salon dedicated to providing careers to beauty advisors.
Our professional team of stylists is fully trained and continuously educated on the latest hair trends and services to provide you with the best results possible.

From the moment you walk in, you’ll be treated like family. Grab a complimentary beverage, beer, or wine and meet with any of our fabulous hair stylist.
Walk-Ins are always welcome. Life can be hectic so we want to be flexible. We strive to see all guest within 30 minutes.
Color Splash Hair Studio Policies
Please read carefully before receiving services. These policies are in place to support the structure of the business and to respect your beauty advisor’s valuable time.
- If you do not call and do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged 100% of the services booked, non-refundable.
- If you cancel within 24 hours of your reserved appointment, you will be charged 50% of the services booked, non-refundable.
- Color Splash Hair Studio does not offer memberships. Online deposits are non-refundable unless the appointment is canceled online.
- If you are not satisfied with any service or product, you have 3 calendar days to call the salon and must allow us to see you in person to review your needs or evaluate your product purchase to make any adjustments. Otherwise, all sales are final on services and products.
- Color Splash Hair Studio uses Phorest Pay, which requires a fee to use the credit card terminal for all credit card transactions. If you prefer, we accept cash or check to avoid these fees. Any returned check will incur an additional $50 NSF fee.
- If you dispute any credit card charges related to services received, no-call/no-show appointments, cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, product purchases, or deposits, you may be subject to additional fees, including but not limited to legal fees, legal costs, and financial institution fees.

I moved to a small area in NC a couple of years ago and couldn't find a stylist I was happy with. When I came across Color Splash and read Heather's bio I knew I had to check her out. I drove about an hour and a half to see her and she was beyond amazing! I showed her 8 pictures to get the look I was going for and she nailed it!!! The owner Timothy was so nice and I think I finally find my spot and yes it is worth the drive.
Jordyn will be my go to until she retires. She always gives the best advice and experiences for myself and my daughter.
Upon arrival everyone was super friendly and welcoming.The salon was exceptionally clean neat and very organized. Tara asked alot if questions to understand exactly what I wanted. She did an amazing job with my hair cut and eye brow waxing.
